So there seems to be a small wasp nest inside the firewall of my Suburban. I have to drive this thing 175 miles tomorrow. And I can't use my traditional bug-killing method of WD-40 and a lighter here... Ideas?

Your car will smell funky for a while, though. Spray and run. Repeat.

Brake clean. They hate that shit and it melts their wings off.

Start it and let it run for a bit. Fumes and heat might do the job.

Use some Raid, and do it at night when they're the least active. It seems like Raid keeps them away after you spray it too.

Source: I had huge wasps nests under my hood, mirrors and in every door jamb on my Safari.

It's sold in the US at Home Depot and Lowes, so unless some Ontario Provincial Ministry do-gooder has some idiot impulse, then it should be available.

Ees done! I removed some stuff to access the firewall and then drenched the nest in bug killer. Now we wait!

You could roll down the winders and hope it don't rain.

I used it for the first time on my new house just a few weeks ago. It said it had a 20 ft range so I gave it a few test sprays into the yard...more like 10 feet...OK

So I get about 10 ft away, and nail this big nest, and I'm pivoted away before I even push the button ready to run.

Not a single one made it off the nest (other than dropping to the ground).

Best 2 bucks I ever spent
